No place for […] explores the physicality of mark making. Both additive and subtractive concepts. It combines the idea of claiming spaces in the real world and on the image surfaces itself. Using a chemical based subtractive technique the photographs are transformed into paintings. Paint is NOT applied to the photograph; instead its surface is diluted with solutions, which allows specific parts of the original to be erased.
