In-Between
My practice originates from the language of painting and photography but with a desire to break medium boundaries. I use image-capturing devices as a painter, dilute the surface of photographic images, combine prints with projections, videos with installation, and consider text as erasure.
I combine these mark making methods as a formal testament to rhizomic thinking, a framework for multi-lingual and multi-cultural processes
feeding the imagination. |
In-Between
Yet, I stand here surrounded by failed utopias. Full of abstractions. The abstract ideologies transform into real consequences. Often idealized, abused, rarely corrected. Vision. Failure. Resist. Endure. Survive. On repeat.
Futility as result.
Abstracted again.
Failure of imagination. Nullifying. Absurd cultural conditions.
Cold conceptuality. Lost all words
